Dear Abby,
Until just a few days ago I was one of the most popular boys in my house, but suddenly a life changing incidence happened and I lost everything. Well, I was working on my steel project just when the melted steel started pouring out of the cracked crucible. I didn’t know the crucible was cracked until I felt the boiling steel on my bare hands. But it was too late. My hand was already crumpled up and burned. We called a nearby mid-wife for help but she couldn’t do much. Since that day on my hand has been this way. It’s totally deformed and now useless. I don’t know what to do. I can’t even work as a silversmith anymore. My life has taken an unexpected turn. I see no future. Please give me some advice. I’m in desperate need of your help.

Dear Johnny,
I understand your feelings but you need to realize that life moves on. Don’t forget that there are so many other people in this world who have disabilities. There lives are moving on, yours will to. Just because you can’t be a silversmith anymore doesn’t mean that you can’t become something else. I’m sure there’s something else you can do. And if you believe in yourself then nothing can stop you from reaching the peaks of success.
