Itz all Over!!!

 

After many harsh battles the war of independence is finally over. The British and the colonists have had many colonists over the years. For example British placing taxes on the colonists which the colonists refused to pay. Such incidences and many others led to this huge war in which the colonists wanted to be free from British rule. Although the British were mush stronger then the colonists they were defeated by them. The colonists had many advantages. For example their army was full of men who were willing to do anything for their countries independence. Not only that, but the colonists also had full support from their every citizen. Each and every colonist was full of patriotism. This really helped the colonists throughout the war of their independence. The British also tried very hard to win this war until one day when they surrendered to George Washington at Yorktown. Although this war included many amazing battles; none were as much remembered as the battle at Yorktown. This battle was a huge win for the patriots. They defeated the British redcoats with the help of the French army. They totally weakened the British until they gave up and surrendered. The British left Yorktown on Oct.20, 1781. This was basically victory for the patriots but there were still a couple of small battles after this. Recently a treaty known as the Treaty of Paris has been signed by the British in which they have declared the independence of the patriots and have recognized the United States as an independent nation. All in all, the war of independence is over giving birth to America.
